Los Angeles Pond Builder is a designer and licensed contractor with years of experience building living water features. Our crew

Every Los Angeles pond build is led by a water-feature craftsman with real aquatic experience. Our designers understand the biology of a balanced pond — the nitrogen cycle, beneficial bacteria, aeration, and aquatic planting — not just how to dig a hole and drop a liner. On koi ponds we build to koi-keeping standards (bottom drains, settlement chambers, proper depth and turnover). On natural swimming ponds we separate the regeneration zone from the swim zone and size the biological filter to keep the water safe without chlorine. We coordinate with the city on drainage, grading, and any required permits.
